Our Beginning!

Hey Panda Pals!

We are so excited to be starting this journey! But first, I want to let you know who we are and what we do!

The University of Illinois Veterinarians Without Borders is a volunteer group that travels abroad working in animal conservation. This year we have two groups sharing their time and passion for animals-One group is going to Thailand to work with Asian elephants, and the other is going to China to work with pandas!

In China we will be volunteering our time and energy to help a panda reserve in Chengdu. Before we depart, we will be working to educate the public about the importance of both animal and habitat conservation. I will be updating this blog regularly in order to keep our fans posted on our activities, and opportunities to contribute.

We are a group of passionate, intelligent, and adventurous students looking to help change the world one action at a time. This is an incredible opportunity that will not only broaden our perception of the world, but allow us to contribute to it.
However, being college students, we are also extremely BROKE! There is a link on this page to donate to Vets Without Borders, Project Panda! We appreciate all of your support, and the pandas do too!
